Il Comune di Varese aderisce a Mayors for Peace

A raccontare i dettagli di questa significativa adesione della città a Mayors for Peace ci saranno il sindaco Davide Galimberti, l’assessore Francesca Strazzi e il professore dell’Università dell’Insubria Giorgio Zamperetti, il sindaco di Hiroshima Kazumi Matsuiel con un videomessaggio e in rappresentanza di Mayors for Peace Italia, Francesco Vignarca, laureato in astrofisica all’Insubria e responsabile di Rete Italiana per il Disarmo

On February 13, Ms. Amelie Dumont successfully concluded her internship at the Mayors for Peace Secretariat. During her internship, she was able to experience part of the secretarial work and to touch upon the realities of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. In her farewell message to President Matsui of Mayors for Peace, she conveyed her appreciation for being received as an intern and expressed her determination to share what she learned through the internship with the Mayor of Montreal and many people in her city and to continue working in collaboration with Mayors for Peace.
